Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Schedule: 72 hours per 2‑week pay period | 12‑hour Night shifts (1900‑0730) Location: Scripps Memorial La Jolla, NST ICU Bonus: this position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K. In the 30‑bed Neuro‑Surgical Trauma ICU (NST ICU), our highly engaged Registered Nurses are part of a Model Care Team, focused on excellent standardized practices and evidence‑based patient‑centered care. Trauma surgery care, trauma care, or care of critically injured trauma patient Comprehensive Stroke Care Neurosurgery EVD, Camino, Licox, Lumbar drain Interventional Radiology Shock and advanced resuscitation measures Mechanical circulatory support CRRT, MTP, Target Temperature Management Responsibilities Providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family‑centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will have one year of adult ICU experience, is committed to elevating their professional practice, and seeks to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
