About the Position

Saffron Indian Bar & Grill is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent hospitality, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience while accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, answering guest questions, and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, spice levels, and make recommendations when requested.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant standards.
• Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and dining areas.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and work with management to resolve issues.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies.
• Work effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts, and other team members.
• Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and other restaurant duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred, but motivated candidates may be considered.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
