About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State License required for RNs; ARRT or RCIS Certification required for Techs within 3 years of hire if not a Rad Technologist with ARRT. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and one of the following - State License for RNs; ARRT or RCIS Certification for Techs. Must-Have: BLS & ACLS; Advanced skills for EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring. Description: This position is for a travel Cath Lab Tech. The unit consists of 2 Cath labs and an EP Holding area. The patient ratio is 1:1 or 2:1. Unit staffing includes a Director, Charge RN, Techs, and RNs. Equipment used includes GE flouro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra. Documentation systems include Mac Lab and Medi tech. Scheduling may require 4-10 or 5-8 hour days with on-call rotation. Floating to other areas within the scope of practice may be required. The unit performs various procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and balloon pump. All staff are committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.
