Shift Leader

At Chicken Salad Chick, we are looking for leaders who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. The Shift Leader will assist the leadership team in providing an engaging environment for restaurant teams and guests while focusing on delivering operational excellence. Chicken Salad Chick Shift Leaders embrace and help lead the Chicken Salad Chick Culture, manage administration and maintain the facility. ***The work schedule for this position will rotate to include a combination of opening, mid-shift, and closing Monday through Saturday. If you cannot work those days, you will automatically be disqualified for the position.

Must be at least 18 years old for this position

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest and have great customer service skills.

• Reliable transportation with a current driver's license is required

• Be authorized to work in the United States

• Be at least 18 years old

• Familar with Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent organization skills and the ability to multitask

• Ability to quickly learn and master new computer software and technology

• Work a maximum of up to forty hours per week in the restaurant

• Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all Kitchen related goals and success factors to Team Members

• Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation

• Effectively coach and give direction

• Be able to connect with a multicultural team

• Enthusiastically and passionately lead all Team Members

• Manage daily activities to ensure guests receive excellent customer service

• Demonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safety

• Adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities

• Sense of Urgency that creates surprisingly fast Speed of Service

• Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed

Education and Experience: One year of related experience in a restaurant environment.

Physical Demands: Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday. Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen or service area
