Warehouse Technician - Chicago

Job Description We are ServiceMaster, the nation’s largest ServiceMaster franchise company, and we have an opening in our Chicago, IL branch. The role manages physical resources—including tools, vehicles, and equipment—ensures warehouse efficiency, and assists with equipment safety training for our field technicians. Location: Chicago, IL Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplementary plans 401(k) and matching Competitive salary Free uniforms Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off (PTO) Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources Requirements Current Forklift Certification (Day 1 Required) DOT Certification (Day 1 Required) Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer and spreadsheet skills Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive) and mobile platforms (Android/iOS) is preferred Capacity to lift 50 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods IICRC certifications (WRT, Smoke, Odor, or Mold) or 4-Star Certification are highly preferred but not required; training will be provided Responsibilities Asset Tracking: Manage, track, and secure shop property, tools, and vehicles Inventory Control: Monitor and manage shop consumables in partnership with managers Logistics Coordination: Coordinate pack-outs and move-backs with the Regional Packout Manager Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all restoration equipment is cleaned, tested, and operational Field Support: Participate in the field on-call rotation as needed during peak times or disasters Safety & Training: Assist with onboarding and training field technicians on proper equipment usage Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer.
