Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with C# and.NET
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with ASP.NET Core
• Understanding of modern application architecture, including stateless applications and state management
• Understanding of application security principles and HIPAA-compliant development
• Ability to work across the full application stack and collaborate with front-end developers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Python
• Exposure to React.js or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or AI-augmented programming
• Prior healthcare industry experience

Job Description:

A leading healthcare system in Georgia is seeking a Back-End Developer to help build and support a new Provider Search and Scheduling platform. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend services, APIs, and integrations that power provider data, appointment availability, and patient scheduling workflows. The goal is to identify long-term team members who can grow with the organization after the platform launch. The ideal candidate will have strong C#/.NET experience, knowledge of modern application architecture, and the ability to develop scalable and secure healthcare applications.

Day to Day:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services supporting provider search and scheduling workflows
• Build integrations between provider data sources, scheduling systems, and enterprise healthcare applications
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions
• Collaborate with front-end developers to support end-to-end platform functionality
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing platform enhancements
• Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap and evolution of the provider search platform
