You'll be the detail-oriented professional who keeps invoices moving, payments tracked, and accounts balanced — supporting the same reliability and service excellence that Canteen is known for across the communities we serve.What You'll DoMonitor credits and debits across accounts with a sharp eye for accuracyPost customer payments, verify deposits, and ensure funds are properly appliedTrack unpaid invoices and proactively follow up with customers on overdue balancesBalance daily and month-end accounts receivable against general ledger balancesInvestigate outstanding invoices, make collection calls, and negotiate payment terms with professionalism and tactProcess liens for collections when necessaryEnter and maintain accurate data within accounts receivable general ledger accountsProvide administrative support across the Financial DepartmentTake on additional responsibilities as they arise, contributing wherever neededWhat You BringBachelor's degree preferred1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting — or equivalent education paired with a solid grasp of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulationsProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and QuickBooksStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues independentlyExceptional attention to detail, communication, data entry accuracy, and math skillsWhy CanteenCanteen is a national leader in workplace dining, vending, and refreshment services, powered by a team that treats every account and every client relationship with care.
