Overview
Mammography Technologist, specialty Zzz Mammo Tech, is a travel assignment in Clearlake, California. The position starts on 06/22/2026 for a 13-week engagement with weekly pay between $2,477 and $2,679. This Day Shift role runs on a 4x10 schedule, typically Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with no on-call, holidays, or weekend requirements. The assignment takes place in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mammography examinations using Volpara MRS, Hologic Mammo systems, and GE DEXA as available.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images while applying radiologic safety principles and minimizing radiation exposure.
- Verify orders, assess patient history, and communicate findings clearly to radiologists and care teams.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot mammography equipment; participate in routine quality control and documentation.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety, including infection control practices and patient education about procedures.
- Document procedures and images in the medical record and assist with image archiving and image transfer as required.
- Collaborate with radiology staff to support workflow, scheduling, and coverage within the shift pattern.

Requirements
- Active CA state licensure and/or ARRT Mammography Certification (MRT required)
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Fluoroscopy license preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a travel assignment and comply with site-specific safety and credentialing requirements
