Laboratory Technician/Technologist

The Laboratory Technician/Technologist works to provide accurate, timely, and cost effective testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The position is responsible for performing daily quality control, calibration, and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with the laboratory's quality management program. The position also aids in the development and maintenance of laboratory procedures and testing practices.

Education and Experience Requirements

EDUCATION:

Required: Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program

Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Required: Medical Laboratory Technician

Valid Drivers License

Preferred: Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Completion 1 or 2 year clinical training program

Preferred: 3-5 years laboratory experience
