Job TitleAssists physicians and nursing staff in the care of patients. Performs various patient care activitiesHas significant administrative and clinical responsibilities including:Nursing visits for biologics injection teachingAssisting with medication authorizationsPatient assistance program forms for biologicsSuture removalsAdminister phototherapy treatmentAssist with in basket messages for specialty clinicsPatch testing placementFacilitation and database maintenance and monitoring of infusions and biologics/specialty medicationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredRequires valid licensure as a Licensed Practical NurseExcellent customer service and communication skillsOne or more years of related experienceCPR certification is requiredTotal RewardsThe referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland's Faculty Physician's Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
