Nursing Programs Manager

Overview: Responsible for the direction, implementation, and evaluation of clinical student programs and clinical education innovations. Oversees the strategic growth and maintenance of student programs in collaboration with academic-service partners. Organizes consultations to high schools, universities and community partners in the development of new student programs. Responsibilities: Provides on-going project management, follow up analysis, and implementation direction for projects related to regulatory accreditation/ readiness. Monitors and analyzes data, identifies trends and risk-related issues, and reports recommendations. Promotes the principles of performance improvement and implements quality improvement measures for assigned programs. Creates and maintains the required documents and data related to program evaluation and accreditation review. Develops, maintains, and oversees student program integration for assigned disciplines (nursing, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, etc.). Collaborates and liaises with strategic student program partners. Serves as contact person for community outreach activities related to research, initiatives, etc. Supports ongoing professional growth for hospital staff in relation to student programs. Uses outcome measurement processes to ensure clinical competency, employee engagement, resident retention, and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical student programs. Assists in development of resources related to Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Evaluates and creates opportunities as a result of research activities.
