System Administrator (Senior-Level)

Link Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL.

The Systems Administrator (Senior-Level) will support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) headquartered at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama. Supporting one of the Armys premier aviation and missile readiness organizations this role will be responsible for administering securing maintaining and modernizing enterprise infrastructure that directly supports aviation and missile sustainment operations logistics readiness and mission-critical business systems. operations.

This position works closely with network cybersecurity cloud application and engineering teams to ensure systems remain reliable secure compliant and available to support organizational objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in infrastructure modernization cloud adoption initiatives disaster recovery planning and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience supporting Microsoft enterprise environments virtualization technologies cloud platforms Active Directory and cybersecurity compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer maintain and support enterprise servers operating systems virtualization platforms storage solutions and supporting infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance availability and operational health while ensuring infrastructure stability and reliability.
• Implement patch management vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity compliance activities in accordance with Government requirements.
• Manage Active Directory Group Policy Microsoft 365 services backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
• Support cloud migration efforts technology modernization initiatives and integration of new enterprise technologies.
• Develop maintain and update technical documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) knowledge articles and configuration records.
• Administer backup and restoration processes to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Support database administration activities and mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with network cybersecurity cloud and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning testing and continuity of operations initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance knowledge transfer and support to users and IT personnel.
• Support enterprise infrastructure modernization and digital transformation initiatives across the AMCOM environment.

Compensation Range:

• $80000 - $100000 annually
• Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Several factors influence final compensation including relevant experience technical expertise certifications education and applicable contract requirements.

Qualifications :

• U.S. Citizen.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate.
• Eight (8) years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure systems administration and Microsoft enterprise environments.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments Active Directory Group Policy backup solutions and enterprise infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting virtualization technologies storage platforms and system lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing patch management vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting cloud migration modernization or enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
• Baseline Certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology IT Service Management or a related technical discipline.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server Windows PowerShell Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting VMware Linux and virtualized enterprise environments.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as ACAS Nessus or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting cloud administration and migration initiatives.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
