Labor and Delivery RN - Travel Contract | Des Moines, IA
Nurse's Etc. Staffing, a proud veteran and minority-owned healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses for an exciting travel contract opportunity.



Assignment Details: Same day interviews

Location : Des Moines, Iowa

Duration : 13 weeks

Weekly Hours : 36

Shift Details : 12H Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Float Requirements : May float across campuses to Mother-Baby or L&D
Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled

On Call Requirements : None

Pay: $2,667 ($1,260 taxable + $1,407 stipend), $35/hr



Unit Information:

• Bed Size: 24 bed, 2 OR
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
• Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
• Drips: magnesium, insulin, pitocin
• Scrubs: hospital provided

Requirements:

• Experience in Labor & Delivery [required]
• Experience in Post Partum / m other-baby care [preferred]
• High risk OB experience [required]
• Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience [required]
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos
• EPIC emr required
• Active state license or compact license when applicable
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN
• Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required]
