Quick Facts: Location: 400 West Mineral King Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Contact for details Shift: Pseudo laborist model, typically day shifts (shift hours TBD) Hours/week: Flexible / Per facility needs Employment Type: Locum Licenses/Certifications: CA Medical License, DEA, Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in OB Hospitalist roles preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $234/hour (Paid weekly via direct deposit) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide emergency obstetric care including labor and delivery management Collaborate with anesthesia and NICU teams for high-level neonatal and maternal support Manage unassigned patients within the hospital’s pseudo laborist program Assist with emergent gynecological procedures as needed Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage Document care in compliance with hospital protocols Coordinate with community providers for backup in complex cases What You Need: Valid California medical license and DEA registration Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience preferred Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Visalia, California, committed to providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care.
