Location: Portland, Oregon

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions exactly as outlined in each patient's plan of care
• Track and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and updated records
• Empower patients with education and customized home exercise programs
• Keep supervising PTs informed of patients' status and responses to treatment
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and compliance standards
• Collaborate with therapists and care teams to help patients reach their goals

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Oregon state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one before starting
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills when collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• A warm, patient-first attitude

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy interventions and treatment plan implementation
• Patient education and home exercise program development
• Accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
• Clear communication with patients, families, and team members
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Time management and flexibility in a fast-paced rehab setting
