Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading civil engineering organization specializing in water infrastructure, is seeking a Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Milton, Delaware Pay Range: 80-95K What's the Job? Support and manage a variety of water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction administration for water treatment, distribution, and storage systems. Contribute to sanitary sewer collection and conveyance projects, including planning, design, and permitting for pump stations, collection, conveyance, and treatment facilities. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, and drainage design, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Engage with regulatory agencies, interpret regulations, and prepare feasibility studies, drawings, specifications, and reports. Mentor junior staff, oversee project efforts, and develop new client relationships to foster business growth. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Environmental, or related discipline). 4+ years of professional experience in engineering, with a focus on design projects. PE license in Delaware and/or Maryland is required. Experience with land development and infrastructure improvement projects, especially public works infrastructure and wet utilities, is a plus. Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, OpenFlows StormCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, ArcGIS, and HEC‑RAS, along with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
