Director Of Nursing

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as our Director of Nursing to lead and oversee our Resident Care programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while supporting the overall mission, goals, and standards of Paramount Senior Living. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with strong clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence in long-term care.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the facility's Resident Care programs, including:
• Health and wellness
• Resident morale and engagement
• Cleanliness and grooming
• Safety and compliance
• Nutrition and nourishment
• Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to assigned care staff
• Ensure alignment of departmental objectives with the organization's long-term strategy and mission
• Maintain a high standard of quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Oversee care delivery processes and evaluate patient outcomes
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, families, and other stakeholders
• Support and monitor quality assurance initiatives within the department
• Respond appropriately and effectively in emergencies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience:

• Prior administrative or supervisory experience in long-term care preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory and clinical practice
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency in the use of medical equipment and instruments
• Awareness of safety hazards and infection control practices
• Demonstrated skill in:
• Care planning and delivery
• Quality assurance and compliance
• Staff leadership and team development
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written, in English)
• Ability to:
• Maintain high-quality control standards
• Interpret and apply policies and guidelines
• Build and maintain professional relationships
• Remain calm and effective under pressure
