Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Night Shift Labor & Delivery RN!

Job Description:


- Position: Labor & Delivery RN
- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or 3x12
- Assignment Length: 13 or 26 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
- First Timers Accepted: Yes
- Certifications Needed:
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced
- NRP
- Preferred Skills:
- Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge
- On-call Requirement: No
- Weekend Requirement: Yes - every other
- Floating Policy: May float to like units if needed
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks
- Local Candidates: Not accepted - must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending License: Accepted - must have license in hand for Auto Offer
- RTO Restrictions: Approved on an individual basis upon offer

Unit Information:
- Focus: High-Risk Labor & Delivery Unit
- Capacity: 10 OB Triage Rooms, 10 LDR Rooms, 3 OR Suites, 4 PACU Rooms
- Daily Deliveries: Average of 7, can go up to 14 patients including inductions
- Triage Patients: Average of 4-5 third trimester testing patients per day

Team Dynamics:
- Collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support including:
- IV Teams
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Services

Special Procedures/Equipment:
- Involves cervical cerclage, cesarean sections, D&C, and more
- Experience with Epic charting system required

Travel Opportunities:
- Must work at least 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
