Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Support Analyst to provide comprehensive IT support for desktop and laptop computers, hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical issues.

Job Description

• Provide onsite, second-line IT support for desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, operating systems, software, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related incidents.
• Image, configure, stage, and deploy computers and other IT devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Install, move, add, change, upgrade, and maintain IT hardware and software.
• Support business-critical applications and troubleshoot technical issues affecting end-user productivity.
• Respond to priority incidents, VIP requests, and escalated service requests.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors and third-party service providers to facilitate equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with IT security issues, including virus remediation and endpoint security support.
• Collaborate with network, server, systems, and enterprise IT teams to resolve technical issues and maintain reliable IT services.
• Assist with network equipment maintenance and infrastructure installations, upgrades, and renovation projects.
• Support local IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, wireless connectivity, telecommunications systems, access control systems, and CCTV equipment, as required.
• Assist with the deployment of upgrades to servers, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
• Coordinate with appropriate technical teams to resolve complex incidents and minimize business disruptions.
• Log, track, document, and update incidents and service requests in accordance with established IT procedures.
• Monitor open tickets, communicate progress to customers, and escalate unresolved issues within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory and IT asset management records.
• Coordinate spare equipment inventory and ensure appropriate asset tracking throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Ensure proper disposal of IT hardware in accordance with company policies and asset disposal procedures.
• Follow IT policies, quality standards, and applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, timely follow-up, and effective problem resolution.
• Work independently while collaborating with distributed IT support teams, network specialists, system administrators, and external vendors.
• Explain IT solutions, tools, and processes to end users to improve productivity and technology adoption.
• Support user training and provide guidance on IT systems, applications, and best practices.
• Share technical knowledge and mentor junior team members when needed.
  
• Participate in IT team meetings, improvement initiatives, and projects designed to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  
• Assist with small-scale IT projects, technology deployments, and process improvement initiatives.
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Onsite Support Analyst or in a similar IT desktop support role.
• Hands-on experience imaging, configuring, and deploying devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and networking.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and resolving escalated IT issues.
• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Network-related certification or equivalent networking knowledge; CompTIA Network+ preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to document technical issues accurately and follow established IT support procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting CAD applications and engineering software.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, or IT automation initiatives.
• Additional technical certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or other relevant IT certifications.
• Experience coordinating IT vendors, managing hardware assets, and supporting infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with IT security practices, endpoint management, and enterprise networking environments.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $30 - $40 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors) l
