Senior Fixed Asset Accountant

• Support reconciliation activities and close processes for the Enterprise Services Fixed Asset Accounting team
• Prepare General Ledger accounting entries
• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Analyze data and take corrective action related to accounting activities
• Provide PwC, DCAA, and Internal Audit support
• Perform financial reporting, process improvements, and ad hoc projects
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Business Accounting, and the SAP Competency Center
• Potentially support Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Payroll, Timekeeping, Sales, Use, & Property Tax, Global Disbursements, and Contracts to Cash
• Support fixed and intangible asset processing, including capitalizations, transfers, and retirements
• Monitor assets under construction

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 2+ years of experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field Experience with general accounting processes, including reconciliation, closing activities, General Ledger accounting entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and audit support Experience with SAP/S4Hana or another major ERP system for transaction processing, fixed asset accounting, asset configuration, and report generation 2+ years of experience with Fixed Asset Accounting U.S. citizenship is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Advanced experience with Excel macros and Power BI Strong communication and presentation skills Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and process improvement Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize critical tasks and manage multiple commitments Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting, including General Ledger entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and audit support. Proficient in SAP/S4Hana and advanced Excel functionalities, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance financial reporting and process improvements.
