LPN Charge Nurse Apple Rehab Rocky Hill, a 100‑bed skilled nursing center in Rocky Hill, CT, is hiring an LPN Charge Nurse to plan and oversee nursing services for residents. Starting pay: Competitive rates beginning at $30 per hour. Differentials Offered Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts Weekend Differential: $1.50 per hour on Saturday and Sunday Additional Shifts Differential: $5.00 per hour for shifts worked outside scheduled hours Available Shifts Per Diem Responsibilities Efficiently plan and provide professional care while aligning with residents' changing medical needs. Maintain professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff. Document crucial resident care information accurately and comprehensively. Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate record‑keeping in line with facility policies. Requirements Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse) In‑depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long‑term care regulations Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Collaborative team player; previous long‑term care experience preferred Additional Expectations All LPN positions require weekend on‑call availability. Per diem staff must complete two weekend shifts monthly.
