You'll be the only HR person at the company's main site and run HR there on your own, from hiring and onboarding to employee relations, benefits and compliance. As the site grows, that includes hiring and supporting an hourly production team.

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a publicly traded medical device company taking a new product toward commercial launch. The team is small and growing, and this role grows with it. You'll own HR on site with real autonomy, and as the company scales after launch, the job gets bigger too.

• Run hiring end to end, from posting and first-round phone screens to offers, including hourly production roles as the site grows

\n

• Run onboarding from offer to day one, including the I-9, E-Verify and new-hire paperwork

\n

• Handle employee relations, from everyday questions to investigations and corrective action

\n

• Manage benefits enrollment, leaves and policy questions, and keep the site compliant

\n

• Keep HR files, records and the HRIS accurate, current and confidential

\n

• Plan the team events, lunches and outings that keep the office connected

\n

• Keep the office and facility running, from supplies to vendors

\n

• Help build the people processes as the company grows

\n

\n

• About five years of hands-on HR experience, with HR as your main job (for example as an HR generalist, HR specialist or HR manager at a smaller company)

\n

• Experience running HR on your own, or as the main HR contact, for a site or a small company

\n

• Able to work on site every day at the company's office

\n

• Clear, professional writing and communication

\n

\n

• A bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field, or SHRM-CP or PHR certification

\n

• Hiring for hourly, production or shift roles

\n

• HR in manufacturing, medical device or another regulated workplace

\n

• ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS

\n

• Promotions or growing responsibility along the way

\n

\n

\n

Base salary of $75,000 to $90,000, plus eligibility for a performance bonus and stock options. Platinum PPO medical with no in-network deductible, dental, vision, a 401(k) match that vests immediately, and 15 vacation days plus 10 holidays to start. This is an on-site role.
