CT Technologist
Location: Galax, VA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Description: The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires the ability to work independently during night shifts and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient records are maintained.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-RT) and Computed Tomography (CT).
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience in CT imaging is required.
- Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently during night shifts.
