Shift Information

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM - 40 hours per week.

Weekend rotation and holiday coverage may be required.

Job Description

This position requires a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist with high proficiency in both specialties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties:

• Positioning patients on the examining table and adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of the specified body areas as requested by physicians.
• Completing all routine diagnostic procedures effectively.
• Setting exposure factors such as time and distance by moving radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusting equipment controls.
• Operating film processing equipment.
• Utilizing mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedsides.
• Practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritizing and organizing daily workflow efficiently.
• Demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Exhibiting basic computer skills.

Dress Code

Professionally appropriate attire is required, which includes:

• Hospital blue scrubs (provided).
• Business casual attire with a lab coat if preferred.
• Basic plain personal scrubs are acceptable.
• No hooded sweatshirts.
• Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or clogs.
• Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and dangling earrings are not permitted.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a CT Tech in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an X-Ray Tech in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and operating room C-arms.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License, easily obtainable with an equivalent state license.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Candidate must possess their own vehicle.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is allowed; fewer days are preferred. Any scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as later requests may not be accommodated.
