Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a profound impact as a contract speech-language pathologist supporting elementary students from kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers the flexibility of full or part-time work and engages you with a close-knit group of approximately 50 students. You’ll work collaboratively with school teams and families near Newberry, SC, providing interventions that help each child achieve their communicative and academic goals.

Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related discipline
• Active South Carolina SLP license
• SC Educator Certification
• Accepting both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in a school setting or providing therapy to school-aged children (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to optimize student outcomes
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the school community
