Perry Brothers Equipment is seeking a strong, experienced outside territory salesperson. This is a growth position with exceptional compensation available to an assertive individual!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The salesperson is responsible for continuing to grow new business and supporting existing clients in equipment sales and rentals.

SOME KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Represents the company for the sale of new and used machinery to customers

· Grow assigned territory sales and market share

· Grow assigned territory rental revenue

· Maintain current knowledge of wholesale used equipment values

· Regularly travel territory and interact with customers in the designated territory to support retail sales as well as aftermarket business (parts & service)

• Communicates and works directly with customers and prospective customers to provide pre-sale application support, quotations, and orders using order entry systems.

• Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
\n
• Generates formal quotations and provides customer leads to the outside sales representatives.
\n
• Demonstrates proficiency in entering orders and preparing customer quotations while responding quickly to customer inquiries.
\n
• Consistently uses vendor/supplier representatives to grow sales, source products, and close deals.
\n
• When needed, communicates effectively with other departments, such as Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations.
\n
• Develops a strong sense of urgency in following up on quotations and sales leads; ensures customers receive the proper paperwork for credit applications.

Qualifications:

\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
\n
• High energy and demonstrated leadership skills
\n
• 4 to 5 years of outside sales experience with large equipment is required.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Must be able to effectively respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and outside entities
\n
• Must have the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
\n
• Impeccable business and ethical standards
\n
• Must be able to travel 70% of the time.
\n
• Ability to maintain confidential information
\n
• Mechanical and equipment aptitude.
