What You'll Do

As an Assembler or Machine Operator, you'll help manufacture high-quality windows and doors while ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assembling windows and doors according to specifications and quality standards
• Reading work orders, production schedules, and assembly instructions
• Selecting and preparing materials for production
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Measuring and verifying dimensions using tape measures and other precision tools
• Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Reporting equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Working closely with team members to achieve daily production goals
• Following all company safety procedures and best practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, assembly, production, or general labor experience
• Construction, carpentry, woodworking, or mechanical aptitude
• Experience interpreting blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
