Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services. Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: Responsibilities The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, an IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. Qualifications Job Requirements: B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. Other applicable state requirements - i.e., sterile compounding, etc. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ALS/ACLS certification (ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue). Preferred Job Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy. 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lovelace Health System, Inc.
