Nuclear Projects Manager

Length of Assignment: 12+ months – possibility to extend based on performance/position need Pay range: $60.00 - 65.00/hr on w2 (all inclusive) Per Diem: 100/day ($700/week) Focus Area: Electrical & Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) or Mechanical Location: This position is onsite. Candidates must be local to the area or within a reasonable driving distance to support daily onsite responsibilities. Remote work is not available.

Position Overview

The selected contractor will support the Nuclear Projects organization and be responsible for managing site projects from initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in project management, leadership, and relevant technical disciplines within a nuclear generation environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading project teams to achieve established milestones and objectives.
• Developing, managing, and monitoring project performance, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinating the resolution of technical issues and implementing project changes when required.
• Ensuring project deliverables meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain unescorted nuclear plant access and successfully complete all station security, badging, and training requirements.

Preferred Experience

• 6+ years of project management experience.
• Prior experience supporting nuclear generation projects strongly preferred.

• Mechanical-focused projects

• Strong understanding of station processes and project management best practices.
• Experience utilizing online and outage work management processes for project scheduling and execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
• Word
• Excel

• Outlook
• Microsoft Project
• Experience reviewing and interpreting Primavera P6 project schedules.
