Job Responsibilities
- Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess clients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies aimed at facilitating their functional goals
- Implement Therapeutic Modalities: Apply proven methodologies to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday living skills
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside occupational, physical, and speech therapists, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive care
- Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to maintain progress outside of sessions
- Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical advancements and modify therapy as required to keep patients on target
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Support for continuing education and advanced certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
- A sincere passion for helping individuals achieve their utmost independence
- Compassionate, effective communication skills with patients and professional peers
