- Supervise daily machine shop operations (CNC mills, lathes, and support equipment)
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery
- Oversee workflow, scheduling, and job prioritization
- Maintain quality control standards and inspection procedures
- Train and mentor junior machinists and technicians
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturability
- Assist with fixture, jig, and tooling development
- Ensure safe operation and proper maintenance of shop equipment
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code and/or CAM software)
- Working knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion, Inventor, etc.)
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances and inspection tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction-related environment
- Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience
