Litigation Support Specialist (Paralegal III)Employment Type: Full-Time, ExperiencedCGS is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team supporting the legal mission of a large federal agency located in Salt Lake City, UT. Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.Skills and attributes for success:Provide comprehensive litigation and technical support for complex, data-intensive Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) matters, focusing on discovery processing, case review platform administration, and advanced paralegal duties.Work closely with USAO Automated Litigation Support (ALS) staff and manage the full lifecycle of electronically stored information—including collection, tracking, processing, and production—while ensuring adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction.The administration of document review databasesConducting legal research via LexisNexis/WestlawSupporting ACE attorneys in the analysis of referrals, pleadings, and complex electronic records.Drafting legal documents including briefs, memos, and pleadingsSummarizing reports and other legal documentsTracking court deadlines and supporting attorneys with calendaringCoordinating pretrial witness activities.Qualifications:Must be a United States Citizen, eligible to receive a Public Trust security clearance.~3–5+ years of progressive experience in litigation support or as a paralegal in a fast-paced legal environment.Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation support software.Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, manage voluminous case files, and maintain rigorous organizational standardsStrong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with attorneys, investigators, and court personnel.A Bachelor's degree or Certified Paralegal (CP) credential is preferred.Our Commitment:Contact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
