Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift Weekly Pay: $1480 - $1680 Shift: 12 Hour Night (18:30 to 07:00), every other weekend Shifts Per Week: 3 Scheduled Hours: 36 Start Date: 06/22/2026 End Date: 09/26/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Job Description The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic treatments, assisting in advanced procedures, and providing critical support in emergency situations. The role requires efficient multitasking and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapies and treatments to patients. Assist in intubation and extubation procedures. Perform sputum collection and tracheostomy care. Manage mechanical ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula systems. Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis. Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications. NBRC certification as either RRT or CRT. Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (A.S. degree required, B.S. degree preferred). Minimum of 20 quarter hours of science coursework.
