About the Position

• Reprocess, clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for procedures according to hospital standards.
• Operate and monitor sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of sterile instruments and supplies.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality control standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization and instrument reprocessing activities.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure instruments and supplies are available when needed.
• Identify damaged or malfunctioning instruments and follow appropriate procedures for repair or replacement.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience within the specialty.
• HSPA Certification required.
• Experience with  reprocessing surgical instruments required.
• Travelers must reside  more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates within 50 miles).
