Job Description This position assists in providing service to customers and their vehicles by disbursing and accurately recording gasoline disbursement in vehicles. Responsibilities Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles. Enter fuel usage in AS400 via TC75. Start vehicles, check fuel gauges, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them. Operate a service truck and answer radio calls. Report and record auction gasoline levels and alert the proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in the main fill area. Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Jump start vehicles and put air in tires if needed. Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (e.g., pumps, fuel trucks). Assist customers in locating vehicles. Assist in sale day duties as needed (e.g., drive, act as lane leader, jump start vehicles, change tires, etc.). Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modelling behaviors related to safety. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field. OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field. Safe drivers needed; a valid driver’s license required. Effective customer service and interpersonal skills required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Basic mechanical knowledge. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future. Preferred Basic computer skills preferred. Schedule Monday - Wednesday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Wednesday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
