Float Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple laboratory locations in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling and opportunities for skill development across diverse patient populations and clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other assays
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and provide superior customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience or accredited certification/training
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer service track record

Compensation: Base pay plus $2.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement; eligible for quarterly performance bonus
