About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year minimum required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Experience in a large Labor and Delivery unit or facility - Skills in circulating and fetal heart monitoring - Experience with postpartum care, baby nursing, and meconium deliveries Description: The position requires working 2 out of 3 specified holiday bundles. No RQI Certifications are accepted. If NRP certification is not available upon submission, scheduling for NRP class may be difficult. The facility allows for floating to antepartum and postpartum units based on needs. Weekend scheduling cannot guarantee time off at this moment. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Call requirements include a schedule of 12 hours over a specific number of weeks. The clinician will assist with special procedures such as cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, AROM, and medically assisted deliveries. Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting is essential. Staff may rotate between Labor and Delivery and OB triage units. The ability to manage varying patient loads and complex cases is crucial. The facility is dedicated to providing quality care in a supportive environment. The daily census in the unit typically includes multiple births. Interdisciplinary support services are available on-site for comprehensive patient care. A focus on both maternal and neonatal health is emphasized.
