Grants and Incentives Analyst Intern

Position Introduction We are currently looking for an Electric Vehicle Energy Analyst Intern to join our team this summer. Key Responsibilities Work closely with incentives team to research and explore opportunities for Electric Vehicle, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), or Solar grants. Assist the EV Incentives Team in drafting EV incentive applications to include Federal, State, Local, and Utility based programs. Work with various Applegreen departments to compile and submit reimbursement documentation for outstanding grants or incentives. Document and track requirements related to ongoing data collection and submittal for existing incentive programs to include National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI), Utility Make-Ready, and other operating incentive programs. Prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly progress reports related to open grant or incentive programs. Maintain databases related to grant funding. Participate in meetings and contribute to project discussions and brainstorming sessions. Prepare, maintain, and distribute meeting notes and assist in agenda creation and distribution. Qualifications Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Basic understanding of business analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
