In this role, you'll be an important part of the team responsible for maintaining our building, equipment, and grounds, helping create a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.If you're a problem-solver who enjoys variety, working with your hands, and knowing that your work makes a difference, we'd love to meet you!As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly by:Performing routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systemsCompleting scheduled preventative maintenance to help prevent costly repairs and downtimeResponding promptly to maintenance requests and work ordersMaintaining facility grounds, including minor landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep as neededAssisting with inspections and testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and life safety equipmentPerforming minor carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and general building maintenanceHelping with room turnovers and preparing rooms for new admissionsIdentifying and reporting safety hazards, structural concerns, or equipment issuesSupporting emergency preparedness and responding to facility emergencies when neededMaintaining tools and equipment in good working conditionCompleting accurate work order documentation and preventative maintenance logsFollowing OSHA, life safety, infection control, PPE, and other established safety requirementsWorking collaboratively with staff across the facility to support a safe and well-maintained environmentWhy This Role MattersGreat maintenance work is about more than fixing a leaky faucet or replacing a light.
