Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position is available in a facility located in Margate, Florida. This role involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures in a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an 8-hour day shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting July 6, 2026.

Job Details:

• Address: 2801 North State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), proficient charting, multitasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner; 2 years current experience in an acute operating room setting.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: On-call responsibilities are split and depend on staffing needs. Rotating weekends may be required.
• Responsibilities: Support cardiac surgical procedures, perform observations, assessments, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluations of patient care. Proficient in charting and multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR Meditech, trauma level experience, teaching hospital background preferred, and experience with cardiac procedures is advantageous.
