Registered Nurse GI Lab

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (06:30 - 14:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience: 2 years Patient Ratio Experience: 2 Description: Local candidates are welcome. On-call and holiday availability is required Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 15:00. Candidates should be available for call during the week and weekends. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Inpatient unit details indicate a two-suite GI unit with low volume. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. All requests for time off must be approved by management prior to signing a contract. RTO cannot exceed five non-consecutive days for approval. During the holiday season, only one holiday RTO request can be made for approval. Module completion is required before the start date, and any not completed will be finished during orientation and annually. Module hours will vary by specialty and are recorded in the designated system. Candidates must provide a state-issued ID prior to submission. Military certifications are acceptable, and AHA certifications are preferred.
