This is done under supervision from the Software Engineering Supervisor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Creates detailed software test plans designed to cover both validation and verification of a new or modified software feature.Develops automated software test scripts.Researches and reports all software anomalies in bug tracking software.Researches software issues and communicates them effectively to internal customers.Releases standard and emergency software versions.Researches parameter and setting updates by interviewing programmers, electrical and mechanical engineers, service, and applications staff, also by running tests on machines using new software features.Creates test methods and test plans for testing of firmware.
