Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project ManagerOur client, a full-service engineering firm in the Washington DC Metro area, is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to help lead its growing water resources practice. This is a leadership role combining technical oversight, client engagement, project management, and mentorship of younger engineers.What you'll do:- Lead stormwater management, stream restoration, flood mitigation, and environmental engineering projects- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships from pursuit through delivery- Provide technical oversight and QA/QC on design deliverables- Mentor and develop junior engineers and help grow the water resources teamWhat we're looking for:- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering- Professional Engineer (PE) license (Maryland or eligible by comity preferred)- Consulting experience in stormwater, stream restoration, hydrology/hydraulics, or flood mitigation- Project management and client-facing experience- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipWhy join:- Base salary up to $150,000, depending on experience- Annual discretionary bonus plan and profit sharing- Flexible schedules with remote work options and real work/life balance- 401(k), strong benefits, and clear paths for growth within the firmGPAC is the recruiting partner for this confidential search.
