Step into a rewarding opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working in a supportive educational environment near Fontana, CA. Perfect for professionals passionate about making a difference in elementary students’ lives, this role offers the chance to work on a mild to moderate caseload across 1-2 school sites.
Ideal candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and bring expertise in supporting students’ speech and language development within a school setting. Your work will directly impact communication skills, academic achievement, and overall confidence in young learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Background in managing mild to moderate caseloads
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to split time between 1-2 nearby school sites
- Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based therapy documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students identified with communication needs
- Assess, develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Conduct screenings and assessments in compliance with educational standards
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer teacher and classroom consultations as required
