**Kennel Technician - $12/hr | Fur Paws LLC | Houston, TX**
Fur Paws LLC in Houston, TX is looking for one Kennel Technician to join our team.
We are located at 5004 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77007.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working with a genuine passion for dogs.
**Pay:** $12/hr, W-2, Direct Deposit every two weeks.
**Responsibilities:**
* Providing food and water to animals according to a set schedule
* Supervising animals and picking up after them
* Playing with or supervising animals in play areas
* Cleaning and disinfecting kennel facilities, equipment and other items
* Checking boarded animals in and out
* Administering medications
* Monitoring health and behavior and reporting concerns
**Qualifications:**
* Must have experience working with dogs - required
* Understanding of dog body language and safe handling
* Able to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and work outdoors in Texas heat
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
* Weekend and holiday availability required
