Attorney Position
A well-regarded insurance defense law firm in Ashburn is looking for an attorney to join its litigation team. This is a chance to build your career defending insured clients in a supportive, collaborative setting. The hybrid schedule and an attractive bonus structure make it stand out.
What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and other written work
- Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings and mediations
- Report case developments and strategy to insurance carriers and clients
- Work closely with partners and support staff on case strategy
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
- Active Virginia bar admission required, with DC and Maryland admission a plus
- Strong writing, research and case management skills
Compensation and Schedule/Benefits
- Competitive base salary, depending on experience
- A competitive bonus structure paid out monthly, quarterly and yearly
- Hybrid work arrangement based in Fairfax, VA
