Job title – Correctional Registered Nurse Facility: Finger Lakes Residential Center (FLRC) Location: Lansing, NY Address: 250 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY 14882

Position Details

• Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday OR Wednesday to Sunday
• Shift time – 11:30 AM–10:00 PM
• Setting: Juvenile Correctional
• Approximately 60 male youth
• Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs
• Parking: Free on-site

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 1 year of correctional nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a juvenile correctional environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and interventions
• Administer medications and maintain medical inventory, including controlled substances
• Assess and monitor the overall health of youth
• Develop, review, and evaluate nursing intervention plans
• Ensure care aligns with treatment plans
• Maintain infection control standards
• Complete required clinical and administrative reports
• Participate in staff training and the facility's medical treatment team
