You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipmentWhat you will do:Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresComplete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentationTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and moreMaintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facilityTrack and store department inventoryMove up to 50lbs with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above the head along with pushing and pulling wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds, during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodationsWhat you will bring:High School diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipmentAbility to work in distribution environments that may be noisy and potentially work on roof top equipment in extreme temperatures1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principlesAble to work with others as well as independently and be a self-starterDemonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workloadUnderstanding and knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) informationBackground or experience in conveyor and forklift operation and repairYour life and career at Saks Global:Opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced environment at a company experiencing growth and transformationExposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across the largest multi-brand luxury retailer from retail to distribution, to digital or corporateComprehensive benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental)An amazing employee discountSalary and other benefits:The hourly pay rate for this position is between $25.00 - $31.25 per hour.
