Medical Director, Pediatric Nephrology

the client is recruiting an experienced Pediatric Nephrologist to serve as the Pediatric Nephrology Medical Director in the Macon, Georgia area. In this role, the Medical Director will build and lead a Pediatric Nephrology program in Macon, overseeing program development and striving to advance the organization’s mission to improve health, elevate hope, and advance healing. The position also offers the opportunity to collaborate with a broader professional network of Pediatric Nephrology leaders across the region. The client’s pediatric care setting includes dedicated pediatric operating rooms, multiple pediatric inpatient units, a neonatal intensive care unit, and pediatric outpatient procedural and diagnostic services supporting patients across Central and South Georgia counties. As Medical Director, you will guide program leadership within this pediatric environment, with responsibilities centered on establishing services, coordinating clinical program direction, and supporting high-quality pediatric nephrology care. This is a full-time medical leadership position expected to include comprehensive benefits and professional development support, and may include an academic appointment. Qualifications include an active Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one, board certification or board eligibility for Pediatrics with subspecialty training in Pediatric Nephrology, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
