About Children’s Minnesota Children’s Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States. We provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood, across two free‑standing hospitals and multiple primary care, specialty, and rehabilitation sites in the Upper Midwest. Position Overview We are seeking 0.6 FTE Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a busy pediatric rehabilitation medicine program. The program offers outpatient support for children with complex needs and dedicated inpatient consultative care to support the acute needs of hospitalized patients. Services are provided at Minneapolis and St. Paul Hospitals and six outpatient therapy clinics. Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for managing complex patient care and ensuring the delivery of rehabilitation expertise to patients, families and other healthcare providers. Duties include evaluating patients, in pediatric populations, with complex rehabilitation needs through outpatient and inpatient care. The Rehab APP will perform tasks independently and in collaboration with the rehabilitation care team. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred. Current MN RN/APRN License. Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current BLS certification. Physician Assistant Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred. Current MN Physician Assistant License. National Certification required by NCCPA. Experience in the care of pediatric patients in a rehab, neurology, or orthopedics clinic preferred.
